Sets
I have outlined below the tools and skill sets that I have used in my current and past positions, how I have applied them and for how long I have been using each. I believe that my knowledge and experience with this wide range of tools will enable me to add value to your organization. This entails creating Tables of Contents, inserting hyperlinks and other formatting as required. When Applied: Currently (3+ years)
How Applied: Use Adobe PageMaker to create print-ready marketing materials and other documentation for my present employer and its clients. This includes importing graphics created and manipulated in Photoshop for high-quality deliverables. When Applied: Currently (1+ years)

How Applied: Use my experience and expertise in curriculum and course design to create training manuals and course outlines for my present employer and its clients. Most recently, I created a multimedia training CD-ROM that included audio and video content for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). After creating the CD, I conducted a two-hour training session at the FAA facility in Washington, DC. The training material is now available on the FAA's intranet site.

How Applied: Use my experience with e-Commerce Internet applications while identifying and defining training and business requirements for the United States Postal Service (USPS), FAA and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

How Applied: Use my knowledge of editing principles to edit, format and rewrite online manuals, marketing material, system requirements and training guides.

How Applied: Use FrontPage 2000 to design, create and maintain websites. I also use FrontPage 2000 to convert documentation from Word and other formats to HTML and then post them to the Web.
When Applied: Last job (3+ years)
How Applied: Use the MS Office Suite to create documentation ranging from user manuals to PowerPoint presentations to Excel spreadsheets. I have also created documentation templates that are currently being used by my present employer and its clients.
When Applied: Currently (7+ years)
How Applied: Use MS Access to create databases used for configuration management, Human Resources and documentation data control. These databases include relationships, data entry and edit forms and customized reports.
When Applied: Currently (2+ years)
How Applied: Use RoboDemo and RoboHelp to create training videos used on a number of Internet applications. These videos are used in both classroom and online training sessions. Most recently, I created a multimedia training CD-ROM that included audio and video content for the United States Postal Service (USPS). After creating the CD, I burned and distributed copies to users nationwide. Approximately 1200 users nationwide currently use the training CD-ROM.
When Applied: Currently (2+ years)
How Applied: Use RoboHelp 9.2, 2002 and X3 to create fully indexed and searchable online help systems, frequently asked questions and training guides for the USPS and the FAA. Approximately 2500 customers are now using the online help systems I have created.
When Applied: Currently (5+ years)
How Applied: Use my experience and expertise in teaching to conduct in-class training for my present employer and its clients. I have conducted extensive training courses at the USPS and FAA. I also taught English at West Virginia University for three years.
When Applied: Currently (7+ years)
How Applied: Use Visio to create data flow, logic flow and process flow diagrams for a wide range of documents. Most recently, I created over 85 detailed data flow and logic flow diagrams as part of a 1200 page operations manual at the USPS.
